Departure information

When it's time for departure here is a list of things you need to pay attention to, in order to get an approved final inspection.

Towels and beddings

If you have borrowed towels and beddings you need to put this either in a blue IKEA-bag, or if this is not available, put everything separated on the floor of the living room. So please don't leave it in the beds. Separate duvets, pillowcases, sheets and the towels.


In the kitchen there are some things to observe (this is NOT included in the normal final cleaning):

  • Empty the dishwasher. Please don't leave anything in the dishwasher.
  • Make sure that everything (cutlery, glasses etc) is cleaned.
  • Please clean the extras (coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettler etc) that you have used.
  • Check and empty the fridge/freezer from opened products. You may leave unopened products.
  • Please don't leave any trash/garbage in the kitchen (and the rest of the apartment).

Security box

If you have used the Security Box (if there is one in the apartment) please make sure you have brought everything with you.

Roughly cleaning

Pick up all larger items that you don't want/that is trash. If you have much sand from the beach on the floors you need to clean this. Make sure that you don't leave any trash/ garbage in the apartment. Take all the bins to the garbage area.


Extra equipment

If you have ordered and used extra Equipment (cot, hair chair, extra bed etc) you need to clean this so when you leave them they will be in same condition like it was upon arrival. If you have got bedspreads/cover for sofas, you need to clean them before arrival (or it will be fixed at extra cost).


About final cleaning

When you arrive you will get the apartment in a perfect condition. As for normal final cleaning you can decide if you want to do everything (or a part of it) yourself or if you want us to clean the apartment.


We are working with a Quality System and has a list for every room what/how to clean and after your departure we will do check every point and will charge €17,50/hour for this together with the necassary cleaning. The cost will be deducted from the security deposit. By doing this our guests will pay for the cleaning after which condition you leave the apartment in. We could also take care of the final dish, garbage etc at a fixed extra cost.


Please notice that even if you have cleaned the apartment we will take time to control and to do the necessary cleaning to obtain the "perfect condition" and the Goodlife Standard.


We will send you by email the certified cleaning report as verifying what we have done and that everything is checked on the same way we did before your arrival. 



Referring to the booking form please don't forget to emailinstructions for the refund. The information we need is:
  • Your IBAN number (please contact your bank if you dont know your IBAN). 
  • The Swift-adress to your bank 
  • Your complete address 
Once we have received this information we will start the process to refund the balance of your deposit. You will receive an email with the Quality Check for you to sign and send back to Goodlife. Together with the Quality Check you will get a copy of the Certified Cleaning Report.
